Dates: Two Wednesdays: March 24 and March 31 from 6-9 pm Want to learn to use sterling silver to set your own stones or your glass creations? This class is for you. Learn how to look for the best cabochons (smooth-top stones) for setting, how to measure for a good fit, and fabrication and soldering techniques to create a successful work of art fit for royalty. Basic metal working techniques will be taught. Class participants will use silver to complete at least one finished pendant, perhaps more, depending on the complexity of the project, your goals, experience and speed. But it’s not a race! Everyone will work at their own pace in this class, and receive plenty of one-on-one assistance, and have a little fun too. No experience necessary. Class fee includes tools, materials and enough silver for a small pendant. Cabochons will be available for purchase as desired, or bring your own stone or flat-backed glass cab. Class size limited to 6 people.
